Brygværket – Vild hvede

Brygværket came into this world in 2012 as the result of the distributor One Pint and the brewer Christian Andersen’s cooperation. Christian Andersen delivers the recipes and the beer is brewed at Ørbæk brewery in Denmark.

I found this beer at a local supermarket in Denmark at the price of 2,66 Euro for a 500 ml bottle with a strength of 5%.

The colour is a full yellow and this unfiltered beer have the look of a fog in the glass. There is only little sediment in the bottle to swirl around and add to the glass.

The head structure is rough and quickly disappears into almost nothing, I would wish the head would stay longer.

The taste is a strong fruitful one where the hint of yeast almost goes unnoticed. Aroma is strong and this beer is different. The beer is everything that the brewer promises on the bottle.

The barley malt is organic and is a step on the way to a completely organic beer.

Overall rating is 80 / 100
