St. Georgen-Bräu brewery is located in Buttenheim, Germany. The brewery was founded in 1624 and from 1814 to 2009 it was owned by the Modschiedler family. The brew master Norbert Kramer took over ownership thereafter, he was employed on the brewery since 2000.
I bought this beer in a local supermarket in Oslo, Norway at the price of 6 Euro for a 500ml bottle at 4,6%.
Colour is a unfiltered yellow with a orange glow to it.
Head comes off very big and settles slowly into a layer of fine bubbles.
Aroma is a light and fresh fruit.
A medium CO2 makes for a pleasant drink where the fruit is a bit on the hops side and after taste is not long lasting. The fruit in the taste does not really stand out.
