Lübz brewery is in Germany known as Mecklenburgische Brauerei Lübz GmbH and it located in the region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in the city of Lübz. The brewery was established in 1877, but have through hard times in the early 1900’s and after the 2nd world war experienced several bankruptsies and reconstructions.

I bought this pilsner beer from a local supermarket, while on vacation in Germany. I was visiting the island of Rügen. Brauerei Lübz is located in the Mecklenburg Vorpommern region in the Nothern Germany.

This pilsner beer comes in a 500 ml glass bottle, with a alcohol content of 4.9%

Clear and yellow cut in the color.

A tad of foam on top, makes for a head that quickly disperses.

Nice and fresh aroma, pilsner notes from a slightly bitter hops.

Good CO2 level, fresh in the taste, low bitterness. Quickly shifts taste and has a weaker after taste. This pilsner beer lands just below average in rating.
