Indslev bryggeri – Flora Wit

GS6A1933Indslev brewery was established in 1897 by Frederik Christian Rasmussen. At some point the brewery was closed down, but in 2005 restored to former glory with brand new production equipment. The re-opening was made possible by Anders Busse Rasmussen, grand grand nephew of Frederik Christian Rasmussen.

There is a lot of sediment in the bottle.

The head is big and rough. It will quickly disperse to a thin fine layer.

The colour resembles the flora name with its orange colour with a rosé glow.

The aroma is a sweet fruit and flowery one.

A bubbly sensation with a little bitterness of flowers over it, the after taste continues with a tone of the flowers from the taste.

A wit brewed without  orange peels and coriander. Instead it is spiced with rose and hibiscus. A interesting take on the Belgian wit.
