The brewery tradition in Straubing, Germany is dated to 1431 where monks founded the Metten Monastery. The brewery used the cellar for beer storage since 1929 and in 2008 bought the family Sillner the Röhrlbräu brewery.
I bought this unfiltered weissbeer from a German webshop at the price of 1,49 Euro for a 500 ml bottle at 5,3%.
Brown and plume looking beer.
No head at all.
Medium light fruit aroma.
Light CO2, good sweet fruit and thick and wheated in the taste. Medium length after taste.
