Röhrlbräu – Straubinger Weisse Alkoholfrei

GS6A8899

The brewery tradition in Straubing, Germany is dated to 1431 where monks founded the Metten Monastery. The brewery used the cellar for beer storage since 1929 and in 2008 bought the family Sillner the Röhrlbräu brewery.

I bought this unfiltered weissbeer from a German webshop at the price of 1,49 Euro for a 500 ml bottle at 0,0%.

Beautiful deep orange with slightly red tones in the colour.

Big head with a fine top.

Light sweet fruit and wheated aroma.

Powerful CO2, thin taste and with a hint of iron. Fresh.

Overall rating 71 / 100
