Taste notes right after decanting

Minimum sediment with a cork completely soaked and destroyed.

Deep dark red like blood.

Dark and tar like aroma with alcohol dominating a light, but sweet, dried fruits scent.

Soft body with everything you can imagine from a harbor, tar, robes, planks, barrels, its it just dark and mysterious. Good tannin balance already. Long, sweet and powerful dried fruits in the after taste, lasts a good while.

No changes in colour, remains dark and bloody.

Aroma as was it smelled directly from the oak casket, dark and lustrous.

Balanced taste with a good complex play between the dried fruits and mild tannin.
