Munkebo mikrobryg is a micro brewery with a capacity of 13.5 hectolitre. Located in Munkebo, Denmark and was founded in 2013.

I bought this witbier in Vinens Verden in Odense, Denmark at the price of 5 Euro for a 330 ml bottle at 5,2%.

Beautiful yellow to orange colour to this unfiltered beer, compact and with large particles from the sediment.

The head is small with fine bubbles and disperses into a thin layer.

A welcoming mix of fruits in the aroma with a slightly dominating citrus.

Balanced CO2 from a beer that flows thick. Bitter fruits that ends off with a light sweetness in the after taste. Price is a bit high compared to bottle volume.

This wheat beer comes from the Paulaner brewery located at Munich in the southern Bayern.

Paulaner have been making beer here since 1634, the brewery was established by the Minim friars of the Neudeck ob der Au cloister. The order and brewery are named after the founder of the order, Francis of Paola. The brewery have since the start changed hands four times and today is owned by a holding company where a venture company along with Heineken owns it.

Beautiful yellow and orange beer with a heavy unfiltered feel to its flow, there is also a lot of sediment.

Big head with a fine top that disperses into a thin layer.

Good fruit aroma and some wheat comes in over it, a little too subtle.

Medium CO2 that gives a good life to the wheat and fruit notes, a little to the sweet side in the overall taste and a tad too thin with the risk of being a little watery, overall a soft taste that lacks a little bite to overcome the lack of alcohol to play into the picture. However it is still a good non-alcoholic weissbier.

The brewery was founded in 1707 when Fürstbischof Marquard II build a brewery in his castle in Titting, Bayern, Germany.

The brewery closed down in 1759 and was reopened in 1786 by Fürstbischof Johann Anton III. The brewery became part of Bayern in 1808 and in 1821 it was sold and was now privately owned. The brewery have been in the hands of the Gutmann family since 1855.

I bought this beer at a Bayern web shop at the price of 2,5 Euro for a 500 ml bottle at 0%.

A very hazy and compact beer with colour going from yellow to almost brown and with a heavy sediment.

A large head with fine bubbles on top, about 5 mm stays for the duration of the drink.

Light fruit aroma but aroma is dominated by the wheat.

Low CO2, some fruit taste but caramel and sweetness dominates. Not bad for a non-alcoholic beer.

Ørbæk brewery was founded in 1906 by the Madsen family in Ørbæk, Denmark. The brewery remained on family hands for 3 generations. At the end of the 1970’s the brewery was sold and had many different owners up until the start of the 1990’s where it closed for good. The brewery had a capacity of 20 HL.

Niels and Nicolai Rømer bought the old brewery with all original equipment in 1996, restoration was needed on both buildings and machines. In 2005 they built a new brew house with a capacity of 6o HL.

Ørbæk brewery produces a wide range of biodynamic products, it is delightful to see people dedicated to make a good natural product.

I was given this biodynamic wheat beer, it can be bought in supermarkets in Denmark. It comes in a 500ml bottle at 4,8%.

Yellow and unfiltered and light yellow in the bottom.

Low head that disappears very fast.

Good sweet fruit and bitter hoppy aroma with a hint of flowers to it.

Good CO2, fresh flowers, sweet fruit and a long after taste with the flowers in it. A good combination and biodynamic beers deserves that extra credit.

A dark and appealing yellow colour in this unfiltered beer.

The head is very fine, yellowish tiny bubbles, just a thin layer that stays.

A lovely aroma with a sweet fruit to it.

Medium CO2, taste is composed of the wheat, the fruit and a after taste that evens out in freshness with a long after taste.

Krenkerup Gods in Sakskøbing, Denmark is a manor house with agriculture, foresting and hunting. The house have been in the same family since 1397. In 2007 it was decided to open a brewery that follows the German purity laws known from Bayern.

I bought this beer in Kvickly, a supermarket found all over Denmark. At the price of 2,5 Euro for a 500ml bottle at 5%.

Dark orange colours bordering to brown.

The head have some brown notes from the beer, disappears fast and leaves a thin layer.

A weak but very sweet fruit aroma.

Bubbly but still somewhat low CO2, sweet fruit, lightly bitter, some darkness in the after taste. Brewed on British fuggle hops.

Schwaben brewery was founded in 1903 by David Sanwald in Stuttgart, Germany. In 1996 it was brought together with the Dinkelacker brewery. In 2007, Wolfgang Dinkelacker, buys back the brewery from the big corporation Inbev. The privately owned brewery, dinkelacker-Schwaben braü, is today still located in Stuttgart and have around 300 employees.

I bought this unfiltered weissbier in a wine shop in Odense, Denmark. At the price of 5 Euro for a 500ml bottle at 5%

Beautiful orange glowing colour.

Large white head, fine bubbles on the top, disperses into a thin layer.

Faint fruit in the aroma.

Strong CO2, the fruit taste is on the light side while it is overwhelmed by the sweet taste.

Nørrebro Bryghus is a Danish micro brewery founded in 2000 by Anders Kissmeyer and is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. The brewery also functions as a restaurant.

I bought this beer in Kvickly, a supermarket found all over Denmark. At the price of 2,5 Euro for a 400ml bottle at 5%.

Good looking yellow and orange colours.

Deheading in an instant, decapitation of foam.

Aroma have some good notes split fifty fifty between fruit and flower.

Low CO2, some good but faint fruit, the grape comes through in the end. Beer in a dentity crisis.

The brewery Skovlyst was founded in 2004 and is located in Hareskoven,Værløse, Denmark. Since 2007 the large batches of beer is brewed on license in Poland. Only limited edition, draft beer and beer for the restaurant is still made at the brewery in Denmark.

I was given this beer as a gift, it can be bought in supermarkets in Denmark. It is a 330ml bottle at 2,7%.

Yellow colour and unfiltered. Large amount of sediment.

No head at all, not even a thin layer.

A artificial aroma of lemon and some ginger in there too.

Low CO2, tastes like lemonade and the ginger keeps going in the after taste.
Beer in a dentity crisis.

Indslev brewery was established in 1897 by Frederik Christian Rasmussen. At some point the brewery was closed down, but in 2005 restored to former glory with brand new production equipment. The re-opening was made possible by Anders Busse Rasmussen, grand grand nephew of Frederik Christian Rasmussen.

I bought this beer in a local super market in Odense, Denmark at the price of 4 Euro for a 500ml bottle at 4,9%.

Brown unfiltered beer with a orange bottom.

Medium head with a fine bubbles, disappears into a thin layer.

A aroma that is fruity with hops and a hint of dark caramel over it.

Low CO2, a weak smoke, a okay fruit but not very strong in taste of either the fruit or smoke, neither in the after taste.
